JoomDIY is integrated with several User Managers (EasySocial and Joomla). This item explains how to set up Joomla as your User Manager. If you plan using EasySocial, you can ignore the rest of this article.
1) Tell JoomDIY what to do regarding users
Go to Components > JoomDIY > Options > Member view tab.
There are 2 important options here. User link is the type of page your users will go to when clicking on a JoomDIY author.
It can either be JoomDIY author page OR EasySocial Profile page. Avatar manager takes two values: "EasySocial" or "Joomla". If "Joomla" is selected, then JoomDIY expects "Profile Picture" plugin to be installed and enabled.
2) Enable user profile plugins
As you might know, Joomla comes with a user profile plugin which is disabled by default. This plugin extends Joomla basic profile with fields like address, center of interest, website and a short user biography. Filter user plugins, check the 2 plugins as shown above and enable them.
